Come join Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester for a FREE class on Budgeting and Understanding Your Credit Report from 6:00p to 7:30p.

Budgeting is a fundamental life tool, and it's the only true way to make sure your money is going where you want it to go. During the class, we will walk through the 5-step budgeting process, including the creation of long and short term goals.

We will also examine some of the common credit myths, as well as discuss the components of a credit score. You will learn strategies for increasing your score and what to avoid that might negatively impact your score. You'll also receive information on how to pull your free credit report, how to read the report, and how to dispute any errors you may find.
